Things are moving along even though it still feels rather slow getting out of the slumps of the pandemic. IT IS TIME to BREAKOUT and GO BACK TO THE THEATERS!!!!!!

There are some exciting new movies coming out this year and yes I know I’ve posted about a few movies already but there are several I did not list for the rest of year! .

Let’s get to it!

July 2021

The Great White

Staring Katrina Bowden and Aaron Jakubenko will hit Theaters and VOD July 16th (yes It’s a Shark Movie and no I haven’t heard of these actors before)

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins July 23rd

I just saw the trailer two days ago and this completely sprung on me and I got so thrilled because it stars Henry Golding. I love his acting and he plays really fun characters. This story is the origins of Snake Eyes who was recruited into G.I. Joe. If you’re a fan of G.I. Joe this may be for you and there will be plenty of action.

Joe Bell July 23rd

This film stars Mark Wahlberg and is a biopic about a man named Joe Bell who lives in Oregon who decides to travel by walking through America to raise awareness of bullying after his 15 year old son commits suicide from bullying.

Jungle Cruise staring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt July 30th

September 2021

I have seen the trailer for this and honestly it looks watch worthy and I will definitely be checking this out in the theaters. Who doesn’t love Emily Blunt and The Rock? Emily Blunt played Mary Poppins in the Return of Mary Poppins and honestly she did such a fantastic job. Plus I loved her character in The Devil Wore Prada. I’m just a fan of The Rock from his wrestling days and some of his movies too.

Venom: The Rise of Carnage September 17th 2021

Tom Hardy reprises his Role as Venom and if you’ve watched the very ending of the first movie we know that Carnage is coming and he will be played by Woody Harrelson.

My Little Pony: The New Generation September 2021 – Originally to be released theatrically but now it’ll be released via Netflix this year.

Dark Harvest September 24th, 2021 – Horror genre and here is the plot summary from and it sounds really awesome!

Hotel Transylvania 4

The Addams Family 2 October 29th, 2021 – The animated sequel to the released Addams Family in 2019

Ron’s Gone Wrong – October 22nd, 2021 – An animated film by 20th Century Studios about these robots that become a kid’s friend but for this one kid his robot isn’t quite working and is taught to be hilarious. It’s a film about that there is more out there than social media.

Cry Macho October 22nd, 2021 – A film staring Clint Eastwood as a washed up rodeo star who takes a job from his ex boss to retrieve his son away from his alcoholic mom. Honestly I’m exited about Cry Macho because I haven’t seen Clint Eastwood do a really good film since Gran Torino.

November 2021

Clifford The Big Red Dog November 5th – A live action movie about the beloved children’s character, Clifford The Big Red Dog.

Resident Evil: Racoon City November 24th – This film is set as an origin and will not be following the past Resident Evil movies that starred Mila Jovovich as Alice. The film will show the beginnings of how the makings of the Umbrella Corporation.

Encanto November 24th – Walt Disney Pictures an Animated film about a magical village where every child is blessed except for one named Mirabel. Mirabel sees that her village is in danger and she decides to go out on a journey to save her village.

December 2021

Barbie December 1 – A live action comedy about the popular doll Barbie

The Six Billion Dollar Man December 1, – Staring Mark Wahlberg based on the tv series The Six Billion Dollar Man.

Sing 2 December 22 – Dreamwork Animation – The Anticipated Sequel to Sing. The original characters, except the mouse, return for the sequel with new songs and some new Characters.

Nightmare Alley December 2nd -Directed by Guillermo del Toro staring Bradley Cooper and Rooney Mara

Based on the William Lindsay Gresham novel of the same name, the story follows the exploits of Stanton Carlisle, a ruthless hustler who learns the tricks of the carny trade and uses them to establish himself as a spiritual guru, preying on the wealthy and the weak.

Sherlock Holmes 3 December 21 – Directed by Dexter Fletcher Starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law

Sherlock and Watson are back in the Third Installment of Sherlock Holmes.

Scarface December 1st – A whole imagining from the Original Scarface which starred Al Pacino

Gigantic December – From the writers of Frozen comes this newly retelling of Jack and The Beanstalk based in Spain around the age of discovery.
