Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
I love this film! It has everything horror, romance, and gore. All things for bloody Valentine’s Day.
Sweeney Todd was released in 2007 and was directed by Tim Burton. Originally this was a Broadway play which featured Angela Lansbury who played Mrs. Lovett. This is a story of a love that was broken by a selfish and greedy man who was a Judge that put Sweeney Todd in jail for many years so he could steal away Todd’s beautiful wife.
It’s a truly tragic tale and it has some beautiful scores throughout the movie. If you’re looking for horror and romance I highly recommend watching Sweeney Todd. It’s available on prime for members.
